The time of departure will depend on the hotel that the guests are staying in. All the tours leave early in the morning, except the Cap Sounion tour.

Please note that for guests from hotels located on narrow streets, the meeting point will be another hotel with easier access.

Tour of Ancient Argolida with lunch


Duration: 1 day(s) - Location: Argolida

The tour will begin early in the morning. The drive will be along the coastal road to the Corynth's Canal, where there will be a brief stop to see the canal that connects the Aegean Sea with the Ioanian Sea. From here, guests will be taken to the Mycenian Site, the city where the oldest civilization in Greece once lived. Guests will be shown the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and the Royal Tombs.

The next destination will be Nauplie, an old harbour with an old charming town, which was once the capital of Greece.

The tour will wind up with a visit to the theatre of Epidaure (from 4th century BC), reknowned for its astonishing acoustics.

It is a one-day excursion. Return to Athens will be late in the afternoon.

Itinerary

Starts from your hotel, drive by the coast of Elefsina, to the canal of Corynth for one hour where you have a break. You continue to the Peloponesse in Epidaure Theatre, where you stay 30mn and then you will visit the Mycenian site for 60mn. The return in Athens is around 18:30-19:30
